The West Glen Home is a historical home with owners that wanted a small renovation to open up the kitchen area to the dining room and do small improvements to the kitchen layout. Horizon had the pleasure to work along side one of our partners Enhance a House and their team to provide the home owners with a quick, and clean renovation; in budget, on time, and while the owners lived in the home.

The new owners of a large retail and commercial site invited us to walk the property to determine if there was any potential for the planned renovations to disturb and asbestos containing materials. Horizon was able to give the owner a quick glimpse into what materials are presumed asbestos containing materials (PACM) and provided a not to exceed cost estimate for the required survey. The project was contracted and Horizon was able to come in under budget and on time with our survey and sampling cost. We were further able to offer our referral and consulting services to the owner and had a very efficient and successful abetment project for the clients.
Note that as in the case the majority of the time, Horizon offers a Not to Exceed cost Estimate. If we determine additional samples are required, there is not additional fee to the client, but if we collect less samples, the client receives the discount. Win Win for our Clients.
We have a base of repeat clients that we can offer special pricing and services to, including emergency or rapid response, rush sampling and expediated reports.
A number of our clients call for Horizon to complete their project with out requiring estimates due to the relations we tend to build.
